What's New

Please see below for a number of links to presentation materials from Parent Nights and counseling seminars that are conducted throughout the year.

Check out the link below to our 2016-2017 Beyond FM, a handbook developed to help answer questions about the future planning process.
SAT and ACT test dates and deadlines for the 2016-2017 school year are posted for your information and planning. Most students register online at www.collegeboard.com or at www.actstudent.org.

For the 2016-2017 school year, we are providing a free online course to help students build their SAT/ACT, math, reading and writing skills. Using this link, Method Test Prep,(which can also be accessed through Naviance and the Counseling Center webpage), students can set up an account that will keep track of all the work he or she has completed. Method Test Prep is interactive, time efficient, and uses proven strategies that are clear and easy to understand for any type of learner. Using technology, students are more engaged and their time is focused on areas in need of improvement. The website is available 24/7 and is designed to be used independently or as a supplement to other SAT or ACT prep.

Naviance:  Students should use Naviance (https://connection.naviance.com/fmshs) throughout their high school experience and post-secondary planning process.  Visit the site frequently for valuable data about colleges and universities, to conduct a college search or to learn more about yourself, careers, and majors, to request transcripts, and to link to the Common Application, NCAA, and other important resources.
