Fayetteville-Manlius is a Google apps for Education School

All students are assigned a Google account that provides access to Gmail, Google Drive and other Google applications.

  • Students will use Gmail for their student email.  Accounts are active until the student graduates.
  • Students can use Google Drive to save files they need to work on outside of school, collaborate and submit projects to teachers.

*Student G-Mail accounts will remain active until the last week of August. Between that time and the first day of school, the account will remain INACTIVE until the student logs in at school for the first time.

Leaving the district?

Follow the steps below to keep your files.

All files in each student's "My Documents" folder will be deleted at the end of the school year. If you wish to keep any files, add them to your Google Drive or save them to a USB drive. Student Google accounts will remain active until the student graduates.

If you are graduating or leaving the district, follow the directions below to save files from Google Drive. You will have the option of exporting your files out of Google or transferring everything to a personal Google account.

Google accounts will be deleted at the end of July for seniors and any students leaving the district. To retain files, they must be moved out of the F-M Google account.

If you only have a few files to keep, you can just right click the file in Google Drive and select "Download," then move it to your personal device or USB drive.

To take all of the files in your Google Drive, use Google Takeout (it’s quick and simple).
