1951 - The Fayetteville-Manlius School District is formed when the Fayetteville and Manlius districts united with eleven other small districts. The Manlius High School building, later Pleasant Street elementary, and the Wellwood building in Fayetteville are the only two buildings in the new school district. Raymond Van Giesen becomes superintendent of the consolidated district.
1953 - Fayetteville Elementary School is constructed.
1955 - Manlius Elementary School is constructed.
1958 - Mott Road Elementary School is constructed.
1962 - The present F-M High School (what is now House II) is constructed.
1965 - A second building is constructed at the F-M High School to house junior high students. These two buildings were not connected.
1965 - Wellwood Middle School was remodeled to serve as a junior high school.
1968 - Enders Road Elementary School opened.
1972 - Eagle Hill Middle School is constructed next to Enders Road Elementary School.
1972 - The F-M High School and the adjacent junior high school were connected so both buildings can be used for high school classes.
1975 - Pleasant Street Elementary school was closed and later sold.
1980 - Manlius Elementary School closed.
1980 - Wellwood and Eagle Hill now serve as middle schools housing students in fifth through eighth grades.
1990 - The F-M District Office was constructed.
1992 - The Fayetteville-Manlius Education Foundation is formed by members of the community and school officials to ensure F-M students have the benefit of a superior education.
1999 - The F-M Hall of Distinction is formed by the school district and the F-M Education Foundation.
