Enders Road Elementary School artists surprise students with colorful yarn display

When students got off the buses at Enders Road Elementary School on the morning of June 13, they discovered a colorful surprise on the school grounds. The night before, F-M art teacher Karmin Hansen, had decorated the campus with about 50 knitted creations that third grade students in two different classes wove. Nick placed first in the 3200-meter run at the 2013 New York State Outdoor Track and Field Championships held June 8 in Middletown. Fayetteville-Manlius High School senior Thomas "Tommy" Quinlan and his younger brother, Patrick "Paddy," are more than just brothers. They are fierce athletic competitors and loyal best friends.
