Wellwood choirs bring home the gold

Three Wellwood Middle School choirs performed well at the Darien Lake Music Festival on June 2.

Chamber Choir, Noteables and Women's Chorale each received gold with distinction ratings.

Mia Garland, a seventh grade Wellwood student, was given the outstanding soloist award for her solo with Women's Chorale.

Chamber Choir won first place in the Middle School/Jr. High Choir Division, and Noteables took home second place in the Elementary Choir Division.
