1. Teachers offer extra help in all subjects on designated days from 2:50-3:30 p.m. This is a good time for students to complete work missed during absences or to get extra help. Teachers may also ask students to stay for extra help if the teacher believes the extra time would be beneficial.
2. Activities sponsored by teachers are also offered from 2:50-3:30 p.m. These activities provide students with the opportunity to participate in an enjoyable activity and also provides students with a chance to meet new friends. Students are encouraged to become involved.
The activities begin on September 18 and end on June 7. Enrichment Period is cancelled on the days of Faculty Meetings and the start of extended vacations. Please see our Calendar of Events 2012-2013 for specific dates.
A list of activities is distributed in homerooms and is available through the Eagle Hill homepage.Intramurals generally take place during 2:50-3:30 p.m. Sports include touch football, basketball, track, soccer, tennis, and gymnastics. All students are encouraged to participate in intramurals.
Students may not leave the school during the Enrichment Period unless supervised by a teacher. If a student is being excused by their parent/guardian during this period, he/she must show a written excuse signed by the parent/guardian. The exact time the student is to be dismissed must be clearly stated. Late buses depart Eagle Hill between 3:45-4:10 p.m. for students who stay for the Enrichment Period. Students waiting for late buses, sports shuttles, or parents must wait in the cafeteria.
