There are great things happening throughout the Fayetteville-Manlius School District, and we want the community to know about them.
To streamline the process of getting news onto the district website and out to the media, please request coverage from the district Communications Office via email. Not all requests for event coverage may be accommodated, but we will do our best to let you know in advance if we are unable to attend an event.
Whenever possible, please submit requests for coverage at least one week in advance.
The following should be included in the request:
- Contact person’s name, phone number and email
- Name of event
- Date and time of event
- Event location
- A short description of the purpose of the event, what will be taking place and how this event or activity enhances or complements classroom or character education lessons
Submitted Photos
If you are submitting a photo from an event that already occurred, please email it as a jpeg to communications@fmschools.org. Make sure everyone in the photo is identified from left to right, by row, by first and last name, and include titles, if appropriate.
Before submitting a photo, please check with your building secretary to make sure that all students in the picture can be photographed. Some parents ask that their children not be photographed, and the main office maintains a list of those students.
