The Fayetteville-Manlius school was closed Thursday, Nov. 29, for clean-up following a small fire in an electrical panel inside a closet Wednesday evening.
The fire alarm was triggered at 8:02 p.m. There were no injuries reported and minimal damage to the building.
No classes for Enders Road students Thursday, Nov. 29
10:05 p.m. Nov. 28: There will be no classes for Enders Road Elementary School students on Thursday, Nov. 29, as clean-up efforts from a small fire that occurred Wednesday evening will be underway at the school. There was minimal damage to the building.
Enders Road staff should report at their regular times to the Eagle Hill Middle School auditorium for a professional development day.
Firefighters, National Grid, school officials at Enders Road following small fire
9:14 p.m. Nov. 28: District officials are assessing damage at Enders Road Elementary School in Manlius after firefighters put out a small fire that occurred in the building Wednesday evening.
The fire alarm was triggered at 8:02 p.m. due to fire in an electric panel within a closet. There were no injuries reported.
Firefighters and National Grid representatives are on the scene, and district officials will determine if school will be held tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 29.
