Fayetteville-Manlius High School students earned a total of 10 gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze medals, along with 31 honorable mentions, on the 2019 National Spanish Examinations.
Students were taught by Spanish teachers Melanie Campitello-Chevez, Stephanie Cimino, Chrissie Cioppa, Eva Giacona, Pam Mitchell, Nona Travis and Athena Tzetzis.
The National Spanish Examinations are sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. Each level’s exam consists of an online test of student’s listening, reading and grammar skills in Spanish.
