As part of their honor society induction, the students have pledged to:
- Remain enrolled in a world language course through their senior year;
- Maintain an overall GPA of 85% and a GPA of 90% or above in their Spanish course; and
- Complete a required number of extra-curricular events that demonstrate involvement with Spanish language and culture. Past events in which students have chosen to participate include assisting with the F-M Spanish Club holiday wish tree, taking the National Spanish Exam, attending concerts or poetry readings at local universities or community organizations, attending events with speakers at the high school, tutoring students of Spanish after school, and participating in community service with organizations that benefit the Hispanic community, such as La Casita cultural center.
