Fayetteville-Manlius High School’s F-M Diversity Coalition will be hosting a Culture Festival on Saturday, April 5 from 12-1:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The event will have student-run booths, activities, food, and performances that showcase the cultural diversity of both the school and larger F-M community.
F-M’s Diversity Coalition is a student organization that promotes diverse perspectives, celebrates cultures, and fosters inclusivity in the school community. Through events such as dialogues on current issues, minority student panels, and celebrations of festivals from various cultures, the group strives to create a space for students to express their own identities while learning about others.
Culture Fest aims to connect the school with the wider community, build a network of multiculturalism, and foster a positive environment in the context of diversity. There will be an entry fee of $5 per person or $15 per family, cash-only. The event is open to the community and attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family.
We hope to see you there!
