Members of the Fayetteville-Manlius Chapter of Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) received awards during the New York State Fall Leadership Conference.
Six students traveled to Albany the week before Thanksgiving to participate in various medical-themed activities, including hands-on experiences in clinical laboratory science and forensic investigations at Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. The conference also included a guest lecture about the field of respiratory therapy.
F-M received the distinction of having all of its participating members earn the HOSA Achievement Award. The F-M HOSA Chapter looks forward to incorporating these valuable experiences into its competitive events at the Spring Leadership Conference this April.
