New York State Education Department (NYSED) is seeking input and feedback on its proposed transformation of State Graduation Requirements through Blue Ribbon Commission (BRC) Ambassador Forums.
In November 2023, the Blue Ribbon Commission on Graduation Measures presented its recommendations for future diploma requirements to the Board of Regents. Since then, the Department created a vision to implement these recommendations.
OCM BOCES is hosting two in-person community sessions to discuss and gather feedback for NYSED on its proposed vision for implementing the recommendations. Meeting attendees will have the opportunity to break into smaller groups to discuss and provide feedback.
There will also be a virtual community session available via Zoom.
Pre-registration is required to participate in the in-person and virtual sessions.
